This is a ukulele group for players who can play basic ukulele chords but don't feel ready to join the more advanced ukulele group.

We play a variety of songs, many from the 60s, with usually just a few chords in each song.

The ukulele is one of the simplest stringed instruments to learn to play so the group welcomes beginners who are prepared to put in regular practice outside of the sessions. Help will be given to get a beginner started and there are always people in the group willing to assist.

We are a friendly group and we enjoy our sessions. No-one is an expert, I certainly am not, so mistakes are plentiful, but who minds? We certainly don't!
